Betts Ecology were commissioned to examine estuarine ecological impacts of sea wall works and associated fill/reclamation operations.
Client & Location
Local landowner, Severn Estuary
Betts Ecology conducted examinations of the sea wall and associated works both along the estuary and landwards where there are ecologically important freshwater drainage reens on the abutting levels. Surveys conducted included saltmarsh and other halophytic vegetation, freshwater aquatic life and estuarine birds (summer and winter).
